Took a turbo ferry out to Minna - jima Island off the N.E. coast of the main island, "Okinawa". These are digital pics of real photos, still not a substitute for a scanner. Oh well, you get the idea anyhow. A mid July typhoon shortened our trip by one day with winds in Naha city gusting over 100mph the day before we arrived.

Really pretty beaches, white sand, blue water..great snorkeling. Nice to get away. Kind of like a foreign country from Japan down there. Different food, feeling, history, dialect...I really liked the music.
